At Soft on Demand, it is often an opportunity to gather together some video that didn't quite make it into a full video release. But I did have the pleasure of knowing a Geisha outside of her work - a perfectly wonderful lady who would occassionally give me a taste of what it would be like. Good times! This video features a maiko - a lady in training to become a geisha. She is dressed in an elaborate red kimono and is in full makeup - hair up and decorated, bright red lipstick and the skin on her face whitened.
